Anny modeled me for this dramatic portrait who is a perfect model for an oriental beauty.
There is a little story behind these pictures. i tried to show change of emotions of people. The first picture, which is combination of bright red and pink shows that she is depressed and has anger inside her. The second picture is yellow green which is the stage of ‘calm down’. In this stage, she finds peace and look back what she did. There’s a little smile in her mouth. The last picture is the stage of stability. She finally smiles and she finds out the right choice.
Set up: First, i set up the tripod to hold the camera for the first picture. I take out the lamp and a gel holder. I used lots of different gels in these photos. The first photo, i combine red and pink gel to create a dark red in the center but as it spreads out, we can see pink around it. The second picture, I used yellow and light green. I put the yellow gel in front of the light green gel to press the strong green-ish color. The last photo seems like i used soft box, but i used blue gel for it and adjust the light to strongest level.
